Madagascar, through the Nosy Be Regional Tourism Office (ORTNB), is participating in the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) which is being held from May 6 to 9, 2024 in Dubai. The event focuses on the theme: “ Empowering innovation: transforming travel through entrepreneurship”.
This unmissable tourist event in the Emirati market attracts up to 2,300 representatives from 165 countries. The ATM is also known for its wide range of conferences, debates and round tables, allowing the discussion of numerous themes affecting tourism, in particular through the interventions of different actors, including the biggest names in the sector.
This year, the show focuses on boosting tourism through innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
The diverse tourist offers and attractions available to Nosy Be are presented during this show, an opportunity for the Madagascar destination to strengthen its international visibility.
As a reminder, the establishment of a direct air link between Antananarivo, Nosy Be and Dubai is currently being studied, following the meeting between the Malagasy authorities and the managers of the airline Emirates Airlines in February 2024. This air connectivity will open new perspectives for the tourism sector in Madagascar, underlines the Madagascar National Tourism Office.
