Pask’ero, a French singer who fell in love with Madagascar, unveiled this Friday, September 5, to the Malagasy press his latest clip entitled ” It’s the Bella Vita ». Shot in Majunga in early July, under the artistic direction of director Kevin Deris, this clip is recorded in featuring with the Malagasy singer, Sarah Angel’s. The song is distinguished by a beautiful fusion between the Afro-Latin style of Pask’ero and the tropical sounds of Sarah Angel’s. This is the fifth clip that Pask’ero shoots in Madagascar; The first, entitled ” Hey … come, we’re going to dance “, Had been shot in Sainte-Marie in 2016.
Pask’ero made his debut in the French variety. But a trip to Africa, in 2011, inspires it to turn to Latin rhythms and oriental sounds, encouraging it to abandon the French variety in favor of sunscreen and mixed music.
His first titles, in this new artistic orientation, were shot in Corsica. In the meantime, he devoted himself to other projects: he plays in 47 performances of the theatrical journal Bonne Garde, in Nantes, written several works on the carnivals of France and launched a nightclub in metropolitan France.
He then returned to Madagascar in 2019, where he turned two other clips: Casanova and a new version of one of its first titles, Magdalena.
In 2024, he gave a concert in the Malagasy capital, filmed by his friend Kevin Deris, before taking a new step in his artistic career with this brand new clip.
But his current stay in Madagascar also takes on a human and charitable dimension. Indeed, Pask’ero is now an ambassador of the association Ny Ho Avy Madagascar, through My Sunset, a component of the association which supports 150 elderly people living in Fenoarivo, on the outskirts of Antananarivo, and in Salazamay, in Tamatave. The partnership agreement between the two parties was signed this same day.
The income generated by viewing the new Pask’ero clip on YouTube will be donated to My Sunset. The latter works as a medical retirement home, offering elders catering, care, entertainment and daily help. Pask’ero also undertakes to plead the cause of the association in France and to seek sponsors as well as partners to support its actions.
Before his return to France, scheduled for December, he plans to give a concert whose revenues will be paid to the association.
On this subject, Pask’ero says that he also dreams of sharing major scenes with Malagasy artists such as Tence Mena, Parish or Mily Clément, whom he has already met personally. He also plans to settle permanently in Madagascar, Majunga, next year.
