From 10 euros
The e-visa must be paid when applying, before departure. Consequently, the traveler no longer has to pay anything upon arrival. “Crossing the border with e-visa is done more quickly and easily,” underlines Alexandre Demaille, associate director of RapideVisa.
There are several types of e-visas, with variable consular fees: valid for 1 entry for 15 days (14 nights) for 10 euros, for 30 days (29 nights) for 35 euros or for 60 days (59 nights) for 40 euros .
At least “10 days” in advance
People of European Union nationalities, including the French, as well as the Swiss and the British, are eligible.
The average delivery time is 3 working days, but “it is advisable to anticipate at least 10 net days to be on the safe side”.
Other useful information: “there are no longer any restrictions linked to Covid for traveling to Madagascar”, indicates Alexandre Demaille.
