The number of tourists from Eastern Europe to Madagascar increased from 6,472 in 2019 to 19,440 in 2023, demonstrating steady and promising growth. The presence of Madagascar as a partner country at the Holiday & Spa international tourism fair in Sofia, Bulgaria, is part of the continuity of the tourism development policy carried out by the ministry, aiming to strengthen its positioning on the tourism market.
