
She was a young woman who has traced her future. It is not at its absolute purpose, but it is almost there. Born in Antalaha, the young lady arrives in Diego-Suarez to register for primary school. As a result, armed with courage, with her brothers and sisters of conviction, she traveled the Varatraza city market two days after World Environment Day in order to carry out awareness for the fight against plastic pollution. “Green walking” was the slogan.
2025 is a year of resurgence for Joyce Gildas Majidy, simply because she found her way. Appointed an environmental ambassador in the Diana region, she was selected to participate in the “Nairobi Summer School Cohort V on Climate Justice 2025, a program of excellence bringing together young African leaders committed to climate justice”. Consequently, from August 25 to September 4 in Addis Ababa, it is among the hundreds of environmental activists benefiting from training in order to force the voice of communities in the face of climate change. In addition, she is a member of Yali Madagascar, regional commissioner within the Fanilon’i Madagasikara association and also founder of the NGO future Generation. She will take part in the prestigious Africa Climate Summit (8–10 September 2025) in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. It is a strategic space where the climatic future of the black continent.
Indeed, this rich route will allow him to transmit the experiences she will have acquired in her country, in particular from her locality. Who does not know the activities as well as the demonstrations she has carried out since 2024 with one goal: “waste management for the implementation of a green circular economy and climate justice”. In addition, these actions hardly prevent him from continuing his studies. On the contrary, this master’s degree in private law at the National Teleseign Center in Madagascar and in Business Administration management in Unicaf has been able to articulate her ambition and his course.
