This Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the Café de la Gare in Antananarivo hosted an unprecedented Masterclass, organized as part of the Nasprod Madagascar Horizon program. Intended for young people, this morning of exchanges and transmission was: “Train today, to produce tomorrow”. Driven by Nasprod, KP Event, Hype Mada and several ministries, the initiative aimed to offer a concrete immersion behind the scenes of the events of events.

A clear objective: to make the sector accessible to young talents
From the opening, Sonia, director of Nasprod, recalled the philosophy of the Horizon Mada project: using the land as a classroom, and cultural events as professional springboard. “” Our goal is to show that the professions behind an international concert are not unattainable for young Malagasy people “She said. Through the examples of the heritage concert by Dadju and Tayc or the current project with the artist Tiakola, who will be in concert in Madagascar on June 11, the desire is to create a lasting ecosystem combining transmission, insertion and impact.
A dialogue between institutions, companies and youth
The first part of the Masterclass highlighted the joint efforts of several public institutions. The Ministry of Youth insisted on the strategic role of young people in socio-economic development, while that of culture has drawn up an inventory of the event sector, stressing the lack of training structures. The Ministry of Higher Education, for its part, pleaded for a better articulation between theoretical training and professional integration, notably promoting work -study routes and short certifications.
The Ministry of the Environment marked the audience by launching a pilot project around the Tiakola concert: a green charter for a responsible event, integrating concrete actions on zero plastic, the circular economy or the inclusion of young people in awareness missions.
The back of the decor: discover the events of events
Beyond the speeches, the Masterclass proposed an overview of the main trades in the sector: management, logistics, technical (sound, light, video), artistic direction, communication, management of digital content, reception or mediation. The KP Event and Nasprod teams shared the expected technical and human skills, emphasizing often underestimated qualities such as punctuality, reactivity or the ability to manage stress.
Concrete opportunities to seize
One of the highlights of the morning was the presentation of the internship programs offered by Orange and KP Event. The young participants were able to discover the immersion methods, the missions offered and the job prospects. Several former trainees who worked on inheritance testified to their transformer journey.
The session ended at a moment of networking, around a coffee, allowing young people, who were present, to dialogue directly with professionals and to register for the courses offered.
