After completing his university graduation in Sustainable Tourism and Management, Diary Andrianampoina decided to become involved in the travel industry in 2003, starting out as a National Tour Guide in Madagascar.
His life long fascination and empathy with cultural and natural history has led to his extensive knowledge and infectious enthusiasm has made him a leading experienced Tour Leader, not only in Madagascar but in some parts of Africa as well as in the Indian Ocean countries.
Thanks to his management potential, leadership skills and destination knowledge, Diary has founded “Awesome Madagascar Tours”, a Malagasy licensed tour company based in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
In 2017, Diary organized a conference entitled “The Future of Tourism in Madagascar”, in collaboration with Ministry of Malagasy Tourism and Grady Brand – Senior Curator at Kings Park Botanic Garden in Perth Western Australia along with Stephen Scourfield – Travel editor, author and journalist at Seven West Media.
In 2019 Diary produced a documentary film “Unique Madagascar” with the world’s renowned Malagasy Primatologist Professor Johah Ratsimbazafy, which was narrated by Stephen Scourfield.
Diary Andrianampoina is an avid nature lover and keen musician. Diary composed a tourism song entitled “Unique Madagascar”, which is available on YouTube.
Diary is a founding member of Madagascar English-Speaking Guides Association (MEGA) and also a lecturer and speaker.
