After obtaining his graduation in English from a private English Language Institute, Alain Rakotonoely directly embarked on tourism. He is a very mutli-talented and inspirational person. He has been acting as tour leader and naturalist guide for more than two decades. He has worked with Awesome Madagascar Tours since its inception. He is a certified botanist guide from Kew Garden in Madagascar.

Alain Rakotonoely is a mentor for the Malagasy young naturalist students and guides. Alain has a keen interest in natural history, botany, birds and primatology. He is also a founding members of the English-speaking guides Association in Madagascar.

A truly music perfomer and Martial art monitor along with a black belt in Taekwondo. Alain has followed tour leading trainings in some foreign countries like France and South Africa.
