The official selection was unveiled this weekend, an eclectic cinema that reflects the seventh art of the black continent. From November 7 to 14, Madagascourt Film Festival will be held in Antananarivo. The theme, ” Always in agony, but never died In tribute to the resilience of African cinema and the commitment of artists who make it live. For this anniversary edition, 758 films, coming from 35 African countries have passed several preliminary phases. Finally, the films selected will be in the running in 5 categories including 15 Malagasy films in the national competition. Among the 17 films in the Pan -African fiction category, ” Followers From Anton Khan represents Madagascar.
