Unpublished: a Malagasy animation series on TV5 Monde

TV5monde Africa, Patrick Bofunda Ilingo, and director Louisette Ratsivahiny presented the new series to the press yesterday.

TV5MONDE highlights an original Malagasy creation which promotes the Francophonie and encourages young people to adopt a healthy food.

“” Looking for the star vegetable », A Malagasy animation series is now exclusively broadcast on Tivi5monde, the TV5 world youth channel. It is also available on the TV5MONDEPLUS TV platform and on TV5MONDE Africa. This series was carried out by Louisette Ismaël Ratsivahiny, and produced by Séléné Lotus SA (Switzerland) and Art’π Prod, a young Malagasy production company. She is also nominated at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

A humorous and educational series. The series is inspired by personal experiences of the director. Indeed, her children did not want to eat vegetables. This is where the project was born, ” so that all vegetables one day end up on all children in the world ».

This mini-series of 13 episodes of 5 minutes is intended for children aged 3 to 6 and brings together several genres. She is both educational and has passages of musical type talent show.

It is mainly intended for a young audience but also to parents, giving them tips for making their children love daily vegetables.

Close collaboration with TV5monde

In addition, the collaboration between director Louisette Ratsivahiny and TV5monde will not stop there. The latter is already preparing to buy a future project from his studio. Precisely, Louisette Ratsivahiny already has other projects, including a larger project, another series, a lot of long, entitled Fara, and which will stage all the characters of Malagasy tales and legends such as Kotobekibo, Trimbe and so many others. The shooting of a spot highlighting the specificities and beauty of Madagascar is also scheduled for this weekend.

After the time for the exclusivity of the series on TV5monde, it will be projected on the Malagasy local channels. With this in mind, Malagasy transcripts of the series are also planned.

The official presentation of this Malagasy animation series was made yesterday in IFM premises, as part of the Madagascar International Animation Film Festival, the first of this kind in the Great Island. The festival begins today, not to end until April 19.
