Beyond its heavenly appearance, the legends that surround it make Sainte-Marie Island, off the coast of Madagascar, special.
Starting with those of pirates. Hundreds of them stopped there between the 17th and 18th centuries.

To the east, there is something new on the postcard of Madagascar. A very trendy “spot”, on the atlas of the most beautiful destinations in the Indian Ocean. A piece of land of 250 km² that looks like paradise. A discreet little island, Sainte-Marie, still preserved from mass tourism, where a privileged few imagine themselves alone in the world, in the kingdom of very private beaches.

If some have found refuge on the fine sandy beaches, for other visitors, the island is first and foremost a land of adventure. Sainte-Marie is as famous for its beaches as for its jewels under the sea. A treasure which has fewer and fewer secrets for divers. Pascal is one of the rare regulars of these seabeds. At 30 meters depth, biodiversity known as one of the richest in the world. A weakened coral reef, but which still sees the leap and back of more than 175 species of fish recorded.
