Tourism in Madagascar at the gates of Paris

Here is a first that deserves to be highlighted: the holding of a workshop entirely dedicated to tourism in Madagascar for and by travel agents at the gates of Paris.

Last Friday March 8, more than 40 representatives of travel agencies and tour operators met in Malakoff to discover or rediscover the fourth largest island in the world: Madagascar.

The Red Island, as it is called, revealed some of its many secrets to the Indian Ocean specialists present and gathered for the occasion in a magnificent loft on the outskirts of Paris.

At the origin of this unprecedented event: Rina Andria of ARMH Consulting, also representing the incoming agency Essence of Madagascar DMC and Essence of The World Group and the Home The Residence hotel in Nosy Be.

The organizer’s desire was not only to present the new developments and developments that the Big Island offers, but also to transmit information corresponding to the expectations of the French market and to which Madagascar responds.

ARMH Consulting also presented its prestigious partners: the 5* establishment Constance Tsarabanjina Madagascar, the Mauritian hotel group Constance Hotels & Resorts, the international company Ethiopian Airlines, Expedia TAAP, Ravinala Airports Madagacar and @Home The Residence.

They presented their products as well as Madagascar’s tourism offering.

These are: the Tsingy du Bemaraha national park, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the imposing avenue of baobabs; breathtaking landscapes such as the heavenly beaches of Nosy Be or the emblematic lemurs living freely in forests and protected reserves, which were presented to the lucky ones through speed-dating type workshops with the partners present.

Exclusively dedicated to travel agents, this first workshop benefited from the support of the Madagascar National Tourism Office.

This evening of escape in the Indian Ocean was finally punctuated by a gourmet break and many surprises, both for the taste buds and for the pleasure of the eyes!

In addition to a magnificent buffet in the colors of Malagasy gastronomy, a sale of products from the crafts and culture of the Red Island will allow you to take away beautiful memories of this first workshop on Madagascar.

Without forgetting the reunions between old acquaintances, the contacts made with new partners and the exchanges with the main players in tourism in the Indian Ocean. (Thank you/Bravo ARMH for this beautiful evening!).
