The FMDS Association (Fikambana Miara-Mentana Diana-Sava) received more than 232 parcels coming from the paratroopers of the meeting (Amicale des Anciens du 2nd RPIMA) yesterday, Tuesday August 19.

At 9 a.m. the French navy boat L’Astrolabe threw anchor at the port of Antsiranana. Once the administrative procedures have been completed, the on -board crane filed the container on the quay, while the members of the association with a social vocation led by Senator Mino Avizara Séramila and its coordinator Jocelyne Jaonosy were ready to accommodate boxes containing various articles such as toys, school supplies and clothing. “” This is the fruit of collaboration between Reunion paratroopers and our association. The content of these boxes is intended for disadvantaged children from the Diana and Sava regions. We will also distribute school supplies to all those who need them. Besides, this is our reason for being “Said senator Mino Seramila in front of the journalists. Of course, this has become a tradition. It must be recalled that on April 17, 2024, the non-profit association of Saint-Pierre delivered quality kits and materials to the needy of Ambilobe, victims of the Gamane cyclone.

Created in 2022, the FMDS symbolizes the fihavanana Between Malagasy compatriots. Currently, it records more than hundreds of members deployed in all the districts of the country’s northern part. These faithful work in different fields in this case, humanitarian aid, socio-economic development with the intention of “making progress together”. Regarding the relationship between the former paratroopers of Reunion and FMDS of Madagascar, it dates from 2023. They meet in a similar objective: concretizing the unwavering fraternity and the Malagas-reunioned Malagasy harmony.

According to Jocelyne Jaonosy, the delivery of these precious presents will be scheduled for next Saturday at the Grande Maison de la Communication et de la Culture – Banja. Then, the members implanted in the other districts will be mobilized in order to accomplish the noble mission.

In short, helping their neighbor is part of Malagasy culture. Miara-Mintanaliterally advancing in concert, is the watchword. The “me” does not exist in the vocabulary of FMDS. The members begin their combination with the first person in the plural “we”.
