An artist incubation project is about to be deployed. It is FEO HUB Program, implemented by CAJA (Administrative and artistic legal assistance advice) and Studio Feo, with the collaboration of the Regional Directorate of Communication and Culture Atsinanana and the Alliance Française de Tamatave.
Spread over 9 months, this program aims to provide artists with support on several aspects to ensure more solid career management and an increased opening to local and international opportunities.
“” We are going to start with Tamatave because it is a cultural melting pot where traditional and contemporary influences come across“, Underlines Natie de Caja.
Among the artists already ready to embark on this adventure are Melo, Trezey and SK
According to his explanations, Tamatave is a fertile ground for the emergence of new artistic forms, where authenticity and innovation can be mixed harmoniously.
Despite this artistic momentum, the ecosystem is still not very structured. The artists face challenges of geographic isolation and a lack of support, access to funding, and connections with international festivals. It is in response to these pitfalls that Feo Hub program intervenes. The project aims to allow each artist to maximize their potential and radiate beyond borders.
Workshops with stakeholders specializing in the administrative, artistic and cultural field will be offered. The incubated artists will also have the opportunity to highlight their talent through showcases, from March. A show will be organized in October 2025 to close this first edition.
Planned to be held this Saturday in Tamatave, the official launch of the project is maintained despite the presence of the cyclone for the moment.
