Currently in Bulgaria, the Minister of Tourism and Crafts of Madagascar, Joël Randriamandranto, met yesterday with Zaritsa Dinkova, Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria, in the presence of the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Madagascar, Stefana Sbrikova.

The discussions focused on strengthening ties between the two countries in the field of tourism. The two personalities discussed the organization of the eductour planned in Madagascar soon, aimed at offering Bulgarian tourist operators an authentic insight into Malagasy culture and its natural wonders. The culinary traditions of both countries were also discussed, exploring exciting partnerships to enrich the respective tourism offerings.

Finally, a perspective of a partnership between tourism schools was discussed, thus opening new opportunities for learning and cultural exchange.

This meeting promises a bright future for tourism between Bulgaria and Madagascar, it is emphasized.

It should be remembered that the international tourism fair Holiday & Spa opened its doors yesterday in Sofia, Bulgaria, with Madagascar as a partner country.

For three days, the Big Island is in the spotlight at this event with various cultural and gastronomic events. Various presentations and meetings with Bulgarian tour operators will be planned with the aim of preparing and implementing the project of the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts as well as the National Tourist Office of Madagascar which aims to organize éductours in order to welcome 400 issuing tour operators this year. The objective is to raise awareness of Madagascar and encourage these tour operators to promote the destination.
